Guilt-Free Cookie Dough

I’ve had the oven on for most of the day today, roasting pumpkin seeds from our pumpkins we had out for Trick-or-Treaters on Wednesday and making some yummy cupcakes just because.  But this Cookie Dough recipe I found did NOT need to go in the oven!!

Guilt-Free Cookie Dough

I saw this pin a few days ago and knew I had to try it.  I wasn’t in the mood for it right away, which is weird because when I see something this mouth-watering, I get a hankering for it right then and there!  I am glad I repinned it though, because I was going through our local grocery store’s ad before going grocery shopping this afternoon and I came across a picture of chocolate chip cookies.  I immediately thought, “Mmmm, cookie dough!!” and instead of making cookies, I made this instead!!

So, after getting home from the grocery store, I quick made up my batch of cupcakes I had already planned on making.  While that was in the oven, I whipped this baby up!

And let me just say, OH. MY. GOD!!!

This has got to be my favorite thing I have found on Pinterest thus far, hands down!

It isn’t exactly 100% guilt-free though.  Obviously you’re going to have the amount of sugar in there that any dentist would cringe at, but then there’s a half of a stick of butter in the recipe too!

And the batch I made is worse!!  I made the recipe as written, but after seeing how little (at least in my opinion!) the recipe yields, I decided to make another batch, only doubling it this time!  So, what you see up above is a TRIPLE batch.  It still probably won’t last very long!!

Oh, and if it looks like the lid won’t fit very well on my container, no worries!!  I can fix that!  ğŸ˜‰
